MyGov National Quiz on Financial Sector 2022: The Government of India (GoI) celebrates 75 years of Progressive India and the glorious history of its people, culture, and achievements as “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”. To celebrate the momentous occasion of Amrit Mahotsav, the Ministry of Finance, the Government of India is organizing a National Quiz on Financial Sector and Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management (AJNIFM) has been mandated to conduct the National Quiz.

Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management (AJNIFM) is an Institute of National Importance promoted by the Ministry of Finance with the Hon’ble Union Finance Minister as the President of the AJNIFM (Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management) Society. It is an institute of excellence center for capacity building in the complex area of ​​finance. Apart from capacity building, AJNIFM (Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management) is also engaged as a Policy Research Institute in Financial Markets under the Department of Economic Affairs (DEA), Ministry of Finance, Government of India – Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management Research Program.

The objective of the National Quiz on Financial Sector 2022

The objective of this quiz is to celebrate the journey of the Indian financial sector in the last 75 years since independence, apart from promoting financial awareness among the citizens of the country. With a similar objective, the upcoming quiz aims to cover a holistic view of the Indian financial sector journey including financial/economic reforms, macro-economic developments, key committees and reports, government welfare schemes, government policies, financial regulators, and institutions, Financial instruments, and Financial markets.

Terms and Conditions of National Quiz on Financial Sector

The National Quiz on Financial Sector shall be open on the MyGov portal, https://quiz.mygov.in for a period of one month. Click the below direct link to start the Quiz on Mygov Portal.

This National Quiz on Financial Sector is open to Indian citizens of 18 years and above as of 01 June 2022. Persons working in AJNIFM and NSE (Permanent and Contractual) and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the quiz. The participant must self-certify that he/she is eligible to take the quiz and will abide by these terms and conditions. They will only be given a certificate of participation. The Participant shall certify himself/herself that he/she is eligible to participate in the Quiz and shall abide by these Terms and Conditions.

The National Quiz on Financial Sector will consist of 15 (Fifteen) Multiple Choice Questions, each carrying one mark. A participant will get 5 (five) minutes to complete the quiz. There will be no negative marking.

Any kind of misconduct like impersonation, double participation, etc., will make the person’s participation null and void.

The performance in the quiz will be assessed on the basis of “maximum correct answers in the shortest time”. For example, if multiple individuals score 20, they will be ranked based on the time taken to complete the quiz set electronically by MyGov.in. The person who has completed the quiz at the earliest will be considered as the best performer. After ranking individuals with a score of 20, individuals with a score of 19 would be ranked, and so on.

The best performer will be awarded a gold medal along with a cash prize of Rs 1,50,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Fifty Thousand only). The second-best performer will be awarded a Silver Medal with a cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only). The third best performer will be awarded a Bronze medal along with a cash prize of ₹50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only). A cash prize of `15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) will be given to the first rank holder (excluding national winners) of each State/UT.

Only one person will be considered for one award. In case of a tie, the winner of the prize will be announced by a draw by the computer facilities of MyGov. The decision of AJNIFM/MyGov will be binding on all the participants. The best performers will be awarded medals and cash prizes, while certificates of participation will be issued to all the participants.

After the conclusion of the quiz, and before the declaration of results, the winners of the cash prizes will be required to provide their identity details and latest photograph. Non-submission of these details will render their participation null and void and the next best performer will be selected accordingly.

Participants who are already registered on the MyGov portal are advised to check and update their current, valid contact details (email id and mobile number) in their MyGov profile/account before playing the quiz. All communication from AJNIFM to the participants/winners will be done only on the contact details available with MyGov in their system.
