CBSE Class 10 Exam Pattern 2022-2023: The CBSE Board has revised the evaluation policy for the class 10 board exam for the new academic session 2022-2023. The CBSE Board has done away with the term-wise assessment scheme adopted in the session 2021-22. Now, a board exam will be conducted at the end of the academic year.
At the same time, emphasis will be laid on moving towards merit-based education by rote. In view of the changed assessment policy, more aptitude-based questions or questions that assess the application of concepts in real-life/unfamiliar situations will be part of the question paper in the upcoming board exam.
Central Board of Secondary Education has decided to conduct a single annual examination. Last year the CBSE board conducted the term-wise (Term I and Term II) board exam. In CBSE Exam Board 2023, each paper will carry 80 marks, and the remaining 20 marks will comprise of internal assessment. Board Examination 2022-23 (Theory)
According to the revised scheme of evaluation, the annual board examination for class 10 students will be conducted at the end of the academic session 2022-23. The CBSE exam will be completely based on the Revised CBSE syllabus 2022-23 and questions will be asked from the entire syllabus published on the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in.
